Jamaica Inn - Publication Date
I have been asked a question about the specific UK publication date of Jamaica Inn. The gentleman who contacted me with this question has a signed copy dated 9th March 1936 and wants to know if this is the day the book was published. | Cortana can't help, offering 1935 or 1936 ! It's possible there's confusion between Gollancz (UK) and Doubleday (US).

| The first UK edition was published in January 1936 by Gollancz. You can find this in later edition/prints on the editions page. Second impression came in February 1936 and third in April 1936. | Posted on Mon 28/07/25 03:58 PM |
