Fowey Festival Online Winter Auction – A rare copy of The Story of Fowey by John Keast

Today, in our bulletin about what is available at the Fowey Festival Online Winter Auction, we bring you news of a paperback copy of The Story of Fowey by John Keast.  This is a difficult title to find in both hardback and paperback, so this is an excellent opportunity to own this book.

The Story of Fowey by John Keast - 2002 paperback edition

The Story of Fowey by John Keast is the only comprehensive book about the history of Fowey ever written.  It was first published in hardback in 1950 by James Townsend and Sons Limited.  The second edition, also in hardback, was published in 1983 by Dyllansow Truran, who brought out a paperback edition in 1987.  Alexander Associates then reprinted the book in paperback in 2002.  It is a copy of the 2002 paperback edition that is in the auction.

Even in paperback, it is not uncommon for copies of this book to sell for up to £50, so get bidding and this wonderful book could be yours.
