It's day three of the du Maurier Fowey Literary Festival and another day packed with a great variety of events.

Later in the day, starting at 12.30pm, Christina will be holding individual 10-minute sessions when she reveals what your handwriting says about you.
Daphne du Maurier walking on the land surrounding Kilmarth in the 1970s
10.30am is the time for the second of the Daphne du Maurier guided walks – Strands of Time, which takes in the villages of Par and Tywardreath and the surrounding countryside as you walk through the scenery of The House on the Strand and Rule Britannia.
Dr Patrick Newberry
At 11am in Fowey Town Hall, Dr Patrick Newberry makes a welcome return to the festival. This morning, he presents his talk, Vanishing Cornwall, about Daphne du Maurier's wonderful book of the same name. Daphne du Maurier wrote Vanishing Cornwall in 1967, at a difficult time in her life, just after her husband had died. Patrick will look at the book's origins, its component parts, what it tells us about Daphne's relationship with this enchanted place, and he will make the case that this book deserves to be recognised as one of the best twentieth–century studies of Cornwall.
David Parker
The afternoon events begin at 2pm in Fowey Town Hall when David Parker presents his film and talk about Tony Benn.
Julie Summers
Then, at 4pm, in Fowey Town Hall, Julie Summers returns to Fowey Festival to talk about her new book British Vogue: The Biography of an Icon.
Dr Tessa Dunlop
At 6pm, Dr Tessa Dunlop talks about her book Lest We Forget: War and Peace in 100 British Monuments.
Peter Knight's Gigspanner Trio
This evening at 8pm in Fowey Parish Church, enjoy Peter Knight's Gigspanner Trio in Concert. Since his inaugural performance with Steeleye Span in 1970, Peter Knight has been a mainstay of the British folk scene. In the wake of Steeleye Span, he turned his attention to the Gigspanner Trio, establishing their reputation as one of the most genuinely ground-breaking forces on the British folk scene.
