Fowey Art Trail – Saturday 11th - Saturday 18th May 2024

Fowey Art Trail flyer 2024

The Fowey Art Trail runs in conjunction with the Fowey Festival of Arts and Literature.  This collaboration started in 2015 and continues to be a hugely popular annual event, aided, no doubt, by the beauty of Fowey and the magnificent estuary, which provides a perfect backdrop to both the Festival and the Art Trail.

This year, the Fowey Art Trail will again be taking place throughout the Fowey Festival of Arts and Literature from 10th to 18th May 2024.  Residents of the Fowey area and visitors to the town will be able to enjoy work exhibited by artists and craftspeople as they open their homes and studios and show us some of the fantastic work they have been creating during the past year.

Artwork in all price ranges will be available for sale.

Those not able to exhibit from their home or studio will display their work at the Royal British Legion, Mission to Seafarers, Harbour Hotel and across the river at St John’s Church, Bodinnick.

Those of you who walk the Art Trail route will be able to attend 30 exhibitions in 17 locations around Fowey, Bodinnick and Polruan.

A more diverse range of work than ever is on display this year, as some artists have experimented away from their usual art forms.  Works on show include paintings, drawings, ceramics, sculpture, photography, jewellery, textiles, and paper-cut art.

Students from The Fowey River Academy return again this year, exhibiting work inspired by marine scenes, seascapes and landscapes at the Mission to Seafarers.
