Taylor Swift inspired by Daphne du Maurier
Rolling Stone recently introduced a series of articles in which artists, in conversation with one another, discuss how the pandemic has affected them, what it is like to make albums at home and their song-writing secrets. In the first of these conversations, Taylor Swift talks to Paul McCartney.
Swift explained that some of her inspiration when writing songs is influenced by the books she is reading, and the words particular authors use. McCartney picked up on this and wanted to know which books she was referring to. Interestingly one of her influences is Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier.
