Daphne du Maurier Society of North America – event cancellation
Sadly, but very wisely the Daphne du Maurier Society of North America has cancelled the private viewing of the 1940 Hitchcock adaptation of Rebecca, because of the coronavirus. This event was due to take place on Saturday 21st November.
The Society suggest that members watch the movie in the comfort of their own homes so that it is fresh in their minds for when Professor Theresa Kenney discusses aspects of the film, and the importance of the narrator in the novel, at the December luncheon.
