Cornwall Life Magazine article about the Rook with the Book in Fowey

The October 2020 issue of Cornwall Life Magazine includes a super article on the Rook with a Book sculpture which, after two years at Berrill’s Yard, Fowey, is now settled on Town Quay, probably the most popular location in Fowey and one where hundreds of people will see her.  Isla, the rook is the creation of father and son sculptors Garry and Thomas Thrussell, who work out of their studio at Temple, on Bodmin Moor.  She is a stunning piece of public art and celebrates the life and work of Daphne du Maurier, by symbolising Daphne’s short story The Birds.
