Recently, Chris Main, a regular contributor to our website, visited Haworth in West Yorkshire, famously home to the Brontës.  He has written a fascinating article for us in which he describes that visit, his thoughts on the Brontë family and, in particular, the least prominent only son in the family, Branwell, about whom Daphne du Maurier wrote a biography on 1960.
