A reminder for du Maurier followers in the UK
Mariella Frostrup filming the Daphne du Maurier programme, for the series Britain's Novel Landscapes, on the beach at Polkerris, autumn 2021
A reminder that the second episode of Britainís Novel Landscapes is on More4 tomorrow (Thursday 10th February) at 9pm and this week the subject of the programme is Daphne du Maurier.
Last week the programme was about Jane Austen. Mariella Frostrup didnít waste any time telling us things about Jane Austen that we already knew. Instead, she approached her subject in a refreshingly different way, looking at the life and times in which Austen was writing and why she approached each of her novels in the way she did.
We very much hope that Mariella will use a similar approach when discussing Daphne du Maurier. So that we can all learn new and interesting facts about our much-loved writer and the Cornish landscape that surrounded her in life and so much of her work.
We would love to hear your thoughts on the programme, so when you have watched it, please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Your views may be of interest to du Maurier followers around the world, who are not able to watch the programme at this time.
