Today, we bring you a brilliantly researched article about Eric Dorman-Smith, nicknamed Chink, who later changed his name to Eric O'Gowan.  As a young man, Eric served in the British Army, but later made enormous alterations to his life when he changed his name to O'Gorman and made his home at Bellmount House in Coothill, County Cavan, Ireland.
