The Daphne du Maurier Society of North America’s annual Summer Reading Retreat takes place on Sunday, 2nd August 2026, from 2 pm to 4 pm, at Cottage Grove Association Dining Hall, Higgins Lake - out in the woods of Michigan.
Regrettably ZOOM will not be available.
The organisers of this event urge you to make a note of the date now.
The afternoon will consist of coffee, treats, and a discussion of Frenchman’s Creek. The discussion will be led by local DNA member Laura Kirklen.
The story of Frenchman’s Creek is about an aristocratic Englishwoman who falls in love with a French pirate – what could possibly go wrong there?!!...
