Manderley Press – Their Books and Their Tote Bag
Manderley Press Ltd is a wonderful independent publisher which began trading in 2021 and is based in London. The company is named after the house in Daphne du Maurier's most famous novel, Rebecca, the owner's favourite book. The owner is even called Rebeka.
The aim of Manderley Books is to republish forgotten or out-of-print books that were originally inspired by a building, city or landmark and to bring those lost titles back to life for today's readers.
The books Rebeka chooses include some for children, which is a treat for all of us looking for special titles for our children and grandchildren.
Each book includes a specially commissioned introduction and cover, with both the author and the artist chosen for their connections to the place at the heart of each title. The books are all hardbacks, quarter-bound in real cloth and printed on high-quality paper.
You can buy these books directly from Manderley Press and receive a beautifully wrapped parcel with an accompanying postcard or bookmark. Or you can buy them through good booksellers around the globe.
Manderley Press also sells the cover artwork as posters and greetings cards, as well as wrapping paper inspired by the books.
