About the Author:

Mark Butterworth was born in West London and worked in the City of London in financial services for over 30 years.  Travelling widely on holidays and business, often combining the two, Mark developed an appreciation of the Far East, Australasia, North America and the Caribbean, and of course, Cornwall.  Many of these locations feature in his books.  Mark enjoys reading (mainly historical fiction and crime novels), running, golf and salsa dancing.  Mark has two grown-up daughters and a Springer Spaniel called Arthur.  He is delighted to return to the Harbour Hotel Fowey, a source of inspiration during the writing of Readymoney Cove, the third instalment in his Adam Devon series.
