The Daphne du Maurier Society of North America – Christmas in Cornwall Luncheon 2025
The Daphne du Maurier Society of North America’s annual Christmas in Cornwall Luncheon (held in Dallas, Texas, rather than Fowey, unfortunately) will feature the fabulous Professor Margaret Mitchell, who will travel to Dallas to provide an in-depth analysis of The King’s General. This classic historical novel explores the passionate love between Honor Harris and Richard Grenvile during the English Civil War. In a tale woven with tragedy and hope, Daphne du Maurier captures the essence of loyalty amid chaos.
The event takes place on Saturday, 6th December 2025, from noon until 2:30 pm, when luncheon will be served, at The Melrose Hotel, The Bridwell Suite, Second Floor, 3015 Oak Lawn Ave., Dallas, TX 75219.
Luncheon and valet parking costs are covered by the Society.
Guests are wellcome.
