Fowey Art Trail and Fowey Secret Gardens 2023

This year, the Fowey Art Trail and Fowey Secret Gardens will again run alongside the Fowey Festival of Arts and Literature.

Fowey Art Trail 2023

The art trail takes place from Saturday 13th until Saturday 20th May.  You will be able to pick up a leaflet about it at the ticket office in The Royal Fowey Yacht Club, at Festival events and in some shops around the town.  This year there will be 30 exhibitions at 17 locations around Fowey, Bodinnick and Polruan, including some new artists and venues alongside popular regulars.  This is an excellent opportunity to meet local artists, many of them in their studios and workspaces, and to enjoy the art and crafts that they are exhibiting.  You will be able to buy the beautiful works they create, available at a wide range of prices.

The art exhibition at St John's Church, Bodinnick, may be of particular interest to fans of Daphne du Maurier because their display includes seldom-seen original artwork by Daphne du Maurier, as well as other pieces by current artists.

Fowey Secret Gardens 2023

Fowey Secret Gardens will be open to the public on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th May.  Follow the trail and discover all sorts of different gardens tucked away in the side streets and alleyways of Fowey and Polruan.  These hidden gems often have fantastic views of the river and surrounding area.  Do remember that, due to Fowey's steep nature, some gardens may have difficult access.  Entry is by donation.  Some gardens will have refreshments for sale.  All donations and proceeds from the sale of refreshments will go to support the Fowey Festival of Arts and Literature.

Maps will be available in shops and cafes around the town.  For more information, please click here

And remember, you can book your Fowey Festival tickets online via the festival website, please click here, and from the box office alongside Waterstone's Festival Bookshop in the Royal Fowey Yacht Club.
