The person being filmed was Laura Varnam, an expert on Daphne du Maurier, who is known to many because of the popular talks and book group sessions that she presents at the Fowey Festival of Art and Literature each year....

April 2016: Arte are making a documentary about Daphne du Maurier for French television. Daphne's daughter Lady Tessa Montgomery and Tatiana de Rosnay, the French novelist and biographer, who has recently written a biography of Daphne du Maurier, were in Fowey to take part in the filming. Locations included St Catherine's Castle, Bookends Of Fowey and Lanhydrock House.
