I would like to know all about Daphne du Maurier's political views and opinions. Jack.

ResponseJack, You will find the answer to your question on Daphne's politics in the biography Daphne du Maurier by Margeret Forster (Arrow) 1994. Why not buy it. The book's index lists 5 pages of which p.302 gives a good summary, 'She was not a Tory but inclined towards a vague humanitarian, if elitist, liberalism and was always attracted to the individual politician than to his politics.' Other pages mention her fondness for Harold Wilson & Edward Heath! Collin
