Rebecca – A trailer for the new adaptation is here
The long-awaited new adaptation of Rebecca moves a step closer today as Netflix releases the first trailer for the film.

Rebecca, starring Lily James as the second Mrs de Winter, Armie Hammer as Maxim, and Kristin Scott Thomas as Mrs Danvers, will appear on Netflix from 21st October. Inevitably the media is already comparing the new adaptation with the classic Hitchcock film of the 1940s. However, director Ben Wheatley says that his film is an adaptation of Daphne du Maurier’s iconic novel of the same name, not previous film adaptations. We can’t wait to see how he interprets this magnificent book for a 21st-century audience.
