| la influencia de Daphne Hola!! Escribo desde Cuba. Recientemente he descubierto esta web. Cuanto me alegra que tomaran la decisión de hacerla. ¡Daphne es una escritora maravillosa! Cuando nací, mi padre me inscribió con su nombre, debido a la influencia que tuvo en él sus novelas y así mismo, me facilitó su lectura que leí con mucho gusto en mi adolescencia. Su afición fue tanta, que en el momento de inscribir mi nacimiento en el Registro Civil, la empleada quería asentarlo en español (Dafne) y él insistió para que lo anotaran igual al de la escritora. Sólo quería contarles esta anécdota para que vean hasta donde llegó el hechizo de Daphne Du Maurier: Hasta nuestra pequeña isla en el otro lado del océano. Hemos leído “Rebeca”, “Mi prima Raquel” y “Los parásitos”. Gracias a esta web he podido saber de la existencia de otros títulos que aquí no son muy conocidos. Saludos!!!! I recently discovered this website. I'm glad they made the decision to make it. Daphne's a wonderful writer! When I was born, my father enrolled me with her name, because of the influence her novels had on him and likewise, he gave me her books that I read with great pleasure in my adolescence. His hobby was so much, that at the time of registering my birth in the Civil registry, the employee wanted to settle it in Spanish (Dafne) and he insisted that they write it equal to that of the writer. I just wanted to tell you this anecdote to see where Daphne Du Maurier's spell came from: to our little island on the other side of the ocean. We read "Rebecca", "My Cousin Rachel" and The Parasites". Thanks to this website I have learned of the existence of other titles that are not very well known here. Best regards!!!!
