Virago Modern Classics celebrates 40 years
Daphne du Maurier's modern publisher, Virago, celebrates 40 years of the Virago Modern Classics series this year. Many of its list of important women writers, including du Maurier, are being reprinted with the distinctive 'green spine' and a new book has been published, edited by Virago's editorial director, Donna Coonan, called 'Writers as Readers: A Celebration of Virago Modern Classics.'
