Performer and music therapist Richard Trethewey has just released a new single and video called Frenchman's Creek.
Inspired by Daphne du Maurier's 1941 novel of the same name, Richard decided to walk the coastal footpaths around Menabilly, where Daphne du Maurier lived.
Richard explains:
As I was walking, the entire tune and arrangement for this song arrived in my head, and I had to record it as soon as I got home.
Of course, there was the long process of producing the video and editing the work, but now Richard's beautiful song is available for us all to enjoy.
